perm / 2026 / 147 sq.m.
This private house project, located in the outskirts of Perm, was designed with careful consideration of the region’s climate and the clients’ lifestyle. The architectural concept is based on clear functional zoning, separating the main living and private areas from the auxiliary block that includes master bedrooms, bathrooms, a sauna, and the entrance zone.
This zoning is emphasized through the volumetric composition of the façades. The primary residential volume is covered by a large roof designed to withstand significant snow loads. An organized drainage system collects rain and meltwater and directs it into landscaped areas in front of the terrace, integrating engineering solutions into the architectural concept of the house.
The auxiliary spaces are covered by a smaller roof volume, reducing structural loads and reinforcing the hierarchy of forms. The façade finishes feature natural materials — dark wood and textured stone — referencing northern architectural traditions. At the same time, the house is expressed in a contemporary architectural language, avoiding direct imitation of traditional forms.
