Chelyabinsk, Russia / 2024 / 60 530 sq.m.
The apartment hotel complex is located in one of the most picturesque places in the city of Chelyabinsk near the main park areas on the embankment of the Miass River.
The main idea of the architectural image is to integrate the apartment complex into the array of parks that form the "Green" ring in the part of the city.
The structure of the volumetric-planning solution of the complex becomes the basis for expanding the urban fabric of greenery and develops the image of one of the seven ancient wonders of the world - "The Hanging Gardens of Babylon". A modern public city park has been created on the roof of the stylobate, but at the same time, residents of the complex can retire in the shade of trees on private terraces located on the roofs of the buildings.
The aesthetics of the facades are subordinated to both the main idea of vertical landscaping and, at the level of the building's base (stylobate), reflect on the surroundings. From the side of the Miass River, smooth lines appear in the facades of the base, which with each level (floor) create the image of waves at high tide. The same thing happens from the side of the park "Aloe Pole", where the greenery array approaches the building and in the projection of the central entrance gap from this side, the facade changes its structure. In the rest of the building facades are solved in a rhythmic sequence to create a calm background for the main accent solutions.
